Our story
A quiet studio, a single loop, repeated with care.
Latte & Loops began with a simple refusal — that handmade should not mean amateur, and that something made slowly can still feel modern.
Yeşim taught herself to crochet the way many do — from a grandmother, then from years of quiet practice. What started as a way to make gifts became a question: could these bags feel as considered as anything in a boutique window?
The answer was in the material. Trapillo — recycled t-shirt yarn — gave the weight and structure that thin craft yarns never could. A bag that holds its shape, softens with use, and lasts.
How a bag is made
Made by one pair of hands
Every bag is crocheted start to finish by Yeşim — no factory line, no outsourcing. What you carry was made, not assembled.
Waste, rewoven
The yarn is trapillo: offcuts from the t-shirt industry that would otherwise be discarded, spun into a soft, durable cord.
Slow by design
We make in small batches. Fewer, better pieces you keep for years — the opposite of a season's trend.
